Looks nice! But what was scary about it if you went during the day?
2 days ago I went inside an unused greenhouse, inside a compound with 24-hour security, at around 4am, just to chill in the eerie loneliness of the place. (and to smoke a joint, of course ) The first time I was there, I heard some sounds of motion from inside the greenhouse, and I also saw something moving inside. But when I poked my head through the broken glass, I saw the place was completely empty.
So I went inside, and immediately heard footsteps. I froze and listened for a while, and the footsteps just seemed to continue forever. I slowly backed out, and as soon as I was outside the footsteps disappeared.
Now *that* is scary, because I *know* the place is empty, and it's been the second time I heard sounds from that building, and both times they sounded so much like someone coming, that I was actually convinced I was going to get caught, though I had no idea who it could have been (definitely not the security guard, he doesn't patrol the greenhouses). I've never really had fear, and I never believed in the supernatural, but when you hear and see motion in a place that is completely empty, and you hear footsteps that disappear as soon as you leave, it does make you a *bit* scared... never really wanna go back, even though I know nobody is in there... well of course I will go back once I get a new camera XD but that's different, I'd risk my life for a good shot anytime.
Sorry for the rambling I need to find a new fix for my UE addiction
this hospital was scary because there were scary texts all over the walls from an obvious schizophrenic person and there were cells in the cellar and strange drawings on the walls. the atmosphere inside was just very frightening
that's awesome! do you have any pics of those scary writings? sounds like a great place to explore!
one of the first abandoned places I ever explored, the once famous Hotel Continental, we broke into the abandoned apartment house next to it (my (usedtobe)friend on the roof: [link]), and we were walking along a walkway when we suddenly heard someone talking... from inside one of the flats! we froze and my friends both got quite scared and wanted to leave, so of course I was the one who had to open the door to the flat. as it slowly opened and more of the room was revealed to me I really really felt like some psycho guy was going to jump out at me XD we discovered a room that had power, lights and heating even though the entire block is offline. there was an old TV that was constantly on, and had HBO (and a horror film was playing when we got there, haha). pic: [link] the next time we went back, the room was torn up, and everything was broken to pieces...
It's probably just me but I think this is too bright. It doesn't have as much of that "ominous" feel to it that your other works have. I still like it though. I'm glad you find these "scary" places to shoot. We don't have them around where I live.
Jop.
