During a quick glance around your gallery this photograph immediately stood out for me. Surely this is the Marie Celeste of abandoned hotels! "Dinner is served... oh sod it let's go". I'm not always a fan of black and white (shameful I know) but in this case it had to be. This picture reminds me of the horror movies of James Whale as well as the stories of Dickens and M.R. James. My only gripe; I can't enlarge it to get a good look at that freaky looking painting on the wall.
OMG. Is there plans of restoration? Why would it be left like this? In America that place would be gutted and sold at antique fairs in a heartbeat or squatted in and graffiti spayed on everything. This is just so cool!
itīs a very hidden place and not easy to find via internet, that might explain the good condition, but unfortunately i havenīt found out why it was closed, yet. i guess itīs too expensive to restore it, youīve seen the mould Besides, the area around it is still used for some outdoor games.
